You would say, it is a dedication, patience, focus. But really, it is an inspiration power. Our eye meets thousands of different shapes and forms every day, but there would be one that catches your attention, your time and your mind until you create your story about it. This time it was a gorgonia corral I found in my latest trip to Mexico.

"It is all about trees"
About this works
I was always fascinated by trees, by their looks and sizes, by their shapes, texture and colours. Later I was more and more grateful to this giants for their importance in our habitats and lives. I owe to this silent beauties for inspiring me in my art for as long as I can remember

"Lacy tales"
About this work
As in a shawl of a silver robe, they appeared in all their glory, like gentle girlish silhouettes floating out on a waltz. Their quiet, even breathing and barely audible whisper are heard through the cool air. This is the last pre-spring dance, the last fairy tale about winter, woven from the stories of long frosty months.

About this work
This work was inspired by artisan wallpapers. Having on my hands lavish samples of colourful and sparkly pieces, I knew I wanted to bring it back to its nature. Tree rings, the nature's fingerprint, I carved out pieces making them into a puzzle. A fingerprint the nature is engraving in us, inspiring to create and to look for beauty.

This piece was created by cutting the design out of heavy stock paper. The work consists of two sheets of paper. The cutting process took one week to complete. Mounted on white background paper thus creating a tender, soft look.
